Driving Mix II

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Well, I enjoyed my first driving mix enough that I made Driving Mix II! A whole ‘nother 18 track album of greatness! I love both my mix CD’s now, but my brother has taken a liking to removing them from the CD player in our shared car. Like he can’t make room for 2 CD’s in a 6-CD changer… is it really that difficult? I hate his passive aggression… oh well.

Feel free to copy either of my mixes! It’s fantastic driving, and singing music. I’ve found my car to be a great place to belt out and sing all I want. Difficult to find a place to do that when you’re like me and don’t like other people listening to you. Hah. So there. Enjoy!

FluidTunes

A cool little application I found, FluidTunes, lets you use only a webcam to browse through music, stop and play songs by waving your hand over the projected buttons. A cute application, runs relatively well although it did crash on me once. It would be fun to use with a smaller library, but with myself it’s somewhat impractical because it uses an iTunes coverflow style and shows each song with it’s individual album cover. It takes a long time to flick through. It’s neat though, and potentially useful if you’re just listening to music and you’re not near your computer to switch tracks, but within view of your webcam.
